Favorite Rap Albums

1) Doggystyle- Awesome album, the g-funk beats are awesome, classic, couldn't have been maid better. Put snoop's awesome "lazy" flow on with Dre's beats, throw in some drug, sex, and gun talk and u get a classic, perhaps the best album of all time, the best in my opinion

2) All Eyez on Me- Great Beats....Great lyrics, a double disc, my second favorite of all time. I love how the 2 cd's have separate themes...the best double disc of all time

Honorable Mentions:

Marshall Mathers LP
The Chronic
2001
The College Dropout
Ready To Die
Life After Death
Regulate
Me against the world
Dogg Food
Amerikkka's most wanted
Enter the Wu

and you guys

Don't have an "absolute" favorite, some times I'm in the mood for one, sometimes for another:

Westside Connection - Bow Down
Dr.Dre - Original Chronic & 2001
Busta Rhymes - The Coming
Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die
Ol' Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36 Chambers
Westside Connection - Terrorist Threats
Xzibit - Restless
Anything from Ice Cube and some stuff by Cash Money

PS. Is it really necessary to censor the word ba stard?

Same with me, its hard to pick one out as you're favorite.

Digable Planets "Blowout Comb"
Common "Resurrection"
Big L "lifestylz ov da poor and dangerous" (highly recommended)
De La Soul "Buhloone Mind State"
Smiff-n-Wessun "Dah Shinin"
Snoop Dog "doggystyle"
Mobb Deep "Murda Muzic"
KRS ONE "KRS ONE"
Any "Bone thugs N-Harmony" is pretty sick too.

i could keep going on but then it kind of defeats the purpoes of the thread. Its hard to pick just a few like this, but these are probably at the top of the list for me.

btw, if you guys ever wanna sample pretty much any cd for free (the first 30 seconds of every song on an album), go to www.barnesandnoble.com

Its pretty useful if you are thinking of buying an album and wanna hear some of it first, so you dont waste you're money on sh**.

seems like everyone likes doggystyle, yeah, its a classic. And I forgot about restless by Xzibit, that album is awesome. I like some Nas stuff too. J you're right, bone thugs are pretty good. I heard some songs where they would make an appearance in a rap song such as the art of war by tupac, and notorious thugs by notorious BIG, wicked song.

yeah, Talib Kweli is awesome, he's awesome on some tracks in Kanye's College Dropout, which is think is better than late registration, hence my pic.
That albums a classic, probably cause it appeals to college students like myself.

I like and listen to a lot of Kanye West at the moment (College Dropout and Late Registration) cos he's got great lyrics but he's also a great produer.
All of Eminem's albums are great aswell.
Jay-Z - The Blueprint , The Black Album , The Dynasty and Reasonable doubt are all great. And Collision Course with Linkin Park was good aswell.
I don't like 50 Cent - he has a few good "hits" but the rest of his songs are not to my liking but thats just my opinion.
Without doubt.
