Yeah so just as the title says. I usually listen to some upbeat song or watch a happy,comedic movie(usually brainless). What do you guys do when you are feeling lonely,down etc?
Naw, just kidding. I usually play some x-box. It passes the time well and most of my attention goes to it so I forget about why I'm down. With college though, I always have some studying I could be doing. I read when I'm down too, preferably something funny or something I enjoy.
I felt compelled to edit your post and delete everything except for this (because I laughed really hard when I read that), but I restrained myself from abusing my mod powers and doing so.
But yeah reading is good, exercise is good, studying is good... all of those things will help take your mind off things. I'm lucky and grateful to have some good friends I can give a call and talk to if I feel like I need to- or occasionally if something is troubling me I'll talk to my mom about it or my brother. Personally if I'm down it makes me feel a lot better to be around people rather than alone with my thoughts. At times it can initially feel uncomfortable to reach out to someone when you don't necessarily have anything positive you're looking to talk about, but if you have family or friends who truly care about you they'll be happy to hear what you have to say and help cheer you up.
When I’m down I look my mom photos, it helps me to get better mind and happiness, because I love my mother very much than my life. She is the most important person in my life.
Relaxing with close friends like very close friends while talking, laughing, and sharing stories is the most relaxing sh*t for the soul and spirit that i can ever do -
Running relaxes, and playing an awesome football match when you forget about everything else and just have fun -

when i am feeling low and down then i always used to play football with my friends or listen songs of my faviourite singer, and sometime i call up my girl friend and we went up for a long drive..
I clean. This is feasible because I like my place really clean, and my place is almost always just clean. There is thankfully quite some distance between clean and really clean. Which means I can get to work no matter what or when. Of late, I've been reading some basic psychology--101 stuff--and it's been helpful too. Recently I ready Bruce Goldstein's work on cognitive psychology, and I've been able to understand mental states just a little bit better. I couldn't read it as carefully as I would have liked, but I'm reading it again shortly (I hope).
