Post by panchester07 » 25 Oct 2009, 18:32

What are some British sayings?

For Example my footballl coach always use to call me:
"You worthless piece of dog-meat"
"Here comes the next best thing after slice bread"
"Oh theres the lad with the golden touch"
"I basically fu**ed the dog all day" (as in I wassted time)
"Pass the bloody ball to the open man"

What are some british sayings like this lads? Thank you mates

God save the queen!

he is from mancheter, hes quite funny, his name is Peter Duffy 100% british, Irish Heritage. Rich as hell, has a masonry and retired at the age of 50. He is the nicest guy, does charity, coaches for fun..He is one of those guys that everybody loves, and always has a joke. His wife is amazingly hot. I think weird would be the last to describe him..

If this was facebook, I would like that.

and if you want a saying, then "he has a touch of a rapist" is used when someone's touch is very bad. I heard one of my coaches use that once to describe our striker.

whateverr, i dont get it, whats wrong? I honestly think the british accent is funny and their expressions are hilarious. Maybe im not as familiar to british people like some of you guys. Everytime I here one, i repeat it and laugh, try to use the same accent. The same way some people laugh at ghetto accent, redneck accent, asian accent, muslim accent, indian accent, Spanish accent, italian accent etc.

I dont know some people here need to get some ass and enjoy life :) ...
