The Wii was developed as an interactive social console, as opposed to the Xbox and PS3, which were developed for the actual gaming experience. It's highly unlikely that Nintendo will come out with a Wii with graphics that will compete with it's Sony and Microsoft counterparts. Never say never, though.
FIFA soccer games (which originated from the idea given by PES 2008) on Wii are alot different. They reflect on an actual TACTICAL experience where multiple players are used at once, not just one player running around. Gameplay revolves around clicking and dragging players, like how actual players would move according to how you want on a field, unlike PS3 or XBOX versions which rely solely on AI.
