I loved seeing that picture of his mom and sisters after he finished. His mom thought he got 2nd, the look on her face said it all. It was great.
Im just watching Phelps get is gold medal quite litterally NOW so its probs too late. When I saw the replay in slow motion it looked as if Cavic (Serbia) won. How can they tell when the hands touch?
there is a touch pad that they touch, and obviously the first to touch wins so it's not like this was a human error. Phelps legitimately won.

Yeah, I heard about shotputting... :(

BUT WRESTLING! fu** YEAH! :P We also got silver in men's rowing. ;)

shanesha, we can only assume withcraft is at work. :P

But yeah, I can understand Cavic being bitchy, and thinking they are favouring the superstars, but there is a touch pad, as well as human confirmation. He actually won it, fair and square.

Yes Phelps did win it fair and square. Cavic was kinda being a sore loser, how are you going to go against a touch pad and technology LOL. I'm happy for Phelps, lets just hope the medly relay can get it done.

Yeah I haven't watched him play at all, but it seems to be that 'Dinho is playing very (surprisingly) well. Is he starting to shake the "lazy fat guy" stereotype that has grown on him as of late?

he didnt tackle the player, more like a take down. and I met Faris haroun when he came to the states his uncle is one of my dads friends and i met him and his brother and talked about football for a bit. he told me that he thinks they will do well in the olympics because theyve been playing for a while unlike the other teams who dont have that much chemistry. i dont think they'll make it to the next round though. and ronaldinho is not playing surprisingly well. hes playing all right but no where near his top form
My dream is to go pro and nothing or anyone will get in the way.

how about Usain Bolt breaking his own 100m dash record? 9.69?! that's absolutely ridiculous. i know how it feels to run 11.4 but that's like 2 seconds faster, i can't even imagine it. and he made it look so easy...wicked insane

yeeah argentina beat netherlands in futbol quarterfinal thanks to messi's genius. Scores a goal and then assists with the most ridiculous of throughballs. Pure class

Alex song really impressed me when I was watching cameroon against Brazil. A really good replacement for senderos. Not lieing.
