Some people are considering him the greatest Olympian for his amazing achievements and some are even considering him the greatest athlete of our time. What do you people think?
He has 12 after the 4x200m freestyle last night

And he's definitely going to be one of the greats, you see how far he gets ahead in each of his events (almost a swimmer's length!), and he's already had 7 golds last olympics, he's just continuing what he started this time.

If Phelps ties for breaks the gold medal record he gets a 1 million dollar bonus from Speedo.

He's going against Ian Crocker tonight, he rival lol. When Michael was younger he had a poster of Crocker on his wall for motivation to beat him.

Phelps has done it!!!! 7 gold medals. He out touched Cavic, barely. He won by 1/100th's of a second.

This is great for Michael and I think most importantly swimming. That swim was amazing. My swim coaches always said "go hard into the wall", don't just give up and lazily touch it, go hard and basically feel like your pushing your arm through it.

This is amazing. Since he tied the record Speedo is giving him a 1million dollar bonus (he only needed to tie or break the medal to get it).

Hey that's cool. Did the subject just come up on a TV interview? I know Steve Nash is a big soccer fan. He's done some charity soccer games recently in the US.

The committee is reviewing the final. I guess they are second guessing who really won. Cavic (2nd place) and his team have protested Michael being named the winner.

I loved seeing that picture of his mom and sisters after he finished. His mom thought he got 2nd, the look on her face said it all. It was great.

Im just watching Phelps get is gold medal quite litterally NOW so its probs too late. When I saw the replay in slow motion it looked as if Cavic (Serbia) won. How can they tell when the hands touch?
