Wow, he just megged three people, maradonas around the last defender, and missed the shot, then not five minutes later a guy on the other team shoots when he gets the ball and scores...
How do you know you've run 3.5 km? FIFA rules state that international matches are on fields of 110-120 yards x 70-80 yards. So 1 lap could vary from 360-400 yards. 3500 meters or 3828 yards would mean 9 1/2 - 10 1/2 times around a field. So, if your local field is exactly 115x75 yards then 10 laps is 3.5 km, but it could be 3.3 km - 3.7 km. For non-international fields, FIFA says 100-130x50-100 yards, so the variance could be even greater, 2.8 km - 4.2 km.
Comparing times over the internet is less useful than improving on your own personal records.
btw charity runs are not only a gd way to help others but do improve ur fitness and in sum aspects ur game. every year i do a five mile charity run thru this village and the results really show on the pitch. my best tym is 33 mins
what u have to do when ur running to just get yourself in playing fitness is to not think about running just get in your grove think about something else to take your mind off it [/quote]
i agree ^^ when i run i think about how many laps i have left, 4 laps is a mile, so i say 8 laps left you can do it, i keep talking to myself in my head, but when my mind wanders from the task my actual speed slows.

I guess B Heck you're very right in this.
And this doesn't just apply runnig around your footy field. it could be running in your local park, or in my case, my estate's gigantic carpark.
how I can calculate exactly 3.5km, that's impossible for a guy without standard measurement tools to calculate kilometers.
A good way to calculate a traveled distance is by using this website: onthegomap
It gives you the possibility to click on the map and it gives you the distance between checkpoints. And if you have multiple checkpoints, it adds each segment as a grand total.
