I injured my knee about a year ago, i have not see a doctor or did any surgery. I rested it for 6 months before i did some running. I feel fine. I did some jogging and gym work for that one month. Then i stopped running and exercise after that for 5 months or so. Now i want to pick it up and do some fitness training and play a match for the first time in a year. Should i get a scan from a doctor or can i just continue with my training? Is there any protective gear i need to get for my knee or ways to prevent another injury? I do not feel pain in the knee when i run though.
