This better recover quickly. I'm bored as fack not being able to play. How long do you think this will take to heal? I can walk on it fine, just when I put pressure on it I.E kicking a ball it hurts. :@
The dude just slid straight through me, I swear the opposite manager told the players to go in hard on me before the game, I got a dead leg, elbowed in the jaw, and this. fu** sake.
Just ice it whenever you can. If you want, see your doctor. But, generally, in my experience, not serious footy for a week and a half, or until you can run at about 75% without experiencing severe pain.

Does the link work for you? you could c/p the info to the board? thanks, my team has a game tomorrow, i'm desperate to play, but not sure whether to risk it or not, it doesnt hurt at all when walking, so if i strap up and use painkiller??

I know how you feel. Being slighty quicker, defenders just catch me. After a while you just get used to it. I just hope it doesn't take ages to heal. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but weaker first. Got myself a deadleg today, couldn't run it off.
Also I give some back myself. I don't chat to them during the game, even when they foul me, take a few seconds to get my breathe back and assess the damage, dust myself off, and get up again. No rolling around or shouting to the ref. When the ball is there, I just get in there late. It always gets 'em mad. They can dish it out but can't take it themselves.
I feel compelled to post a picture of my feet. What with martial arts and so much football, they look much worse than that. I feel I even have some perma-brusies kicking around. Yours actually look quite healthy, aside from the knock.
I'm sure they'll heal up fine, and it won't be long. Follow the advice of the others and, in addition, massage it if you feel up to it. Maybe consider wearing some extra protection around it when you feel up to getting back to practice/games if it concerns you.
Well that is probably one of the main reasons... I was wearing my vapor IV and I kicked a teammates soleplate in a scrimmage and ended up kicking right where the lace cover and tounge was. Absolutly no protection at all. I bruised up similar to your foot and I struggled to walk, but was good in a week with icing it at nights at whenever I could.
Lol , I've had studs come into that part of my foot so hard that my foot had two blacker that black marks for 2 weeks, and I played on to score a hatrick in that game
