like explain more thoroughly. What do you mean by "tugging"? Like when you move does it pull on you? Does it hold you back when you're running? When does it act up?

i really am trying to explain it but it is very hard to explain, i dont feel it that much in games because the adreneline is pumping but when im doing like a 20 minute jog i get the ocassional tug sort of thing and when im doing long strides like a 3/4 pace run i get the tug as well but when im sprinting i dnt...

I told a physio and they said that if it doesnt go within a week they will try some massages to try loosen it up..

Its hard really hard to explain so im sorry about the bad info i was jus wandering if anyone had it before? im guessing its something to do with my recent growth spurt or something to do with me jus passing my driving test and doin 2 hours of driving every day...

Hi Deano7,

I had the a similar issue. I don't know if you have the same problem, only a Dr. can really let you know what is going on with YOUR knee; But, when I went to a knee specialist - he said that I had sprained a small (tiny) tendon in the back of my leg (behind where the knee bends).

Symptoms were:

I can bend my knee and do squats/put weight on it just fine.

Kicking is ok.

Hurts slightly when I use this leg as a plant for my other leg's kicks

It tends to get really sore after 20+ minutes of running and hurts for a while after.

He advised to nurse it back to health by:

1) Taking it easy for 3 days. (no running - no nothing)

2) Start Cycling for 1 week ( no running )

3) Start jogging lightly for 1 week ( no intense running).

By the end of the 2.5 weeks it should not give you any problems.

Hope this helps.
