yeah I personally figured this out today because all day i was juggling a tennis ball and had been juggling the past couple of days and my drives were perfect, most had no spin at all and were quite hard
Haha nice. When you really connect well it should feel like the ball flies off your foot. It's like effortless to shoot. Once you get that form down, just striking the ball, you can start trying to move your leg faster, like when you bring it back and strike the ball, the faster you move your leg the more power you'll have on your shot.

I started juggling the tennis ball because of a retired (of a serious illness) norwegian (very good technique) said that talents should do it. My record is 204 (beating the record on 24th desember) Because of that my coaches has staded that i have the best technique on the team, going from the worst on a few years. Has to start doing it again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w86CsnoPMzM There is a vid of kinda proof. It was not the record but.

after reading that post i decided to start doing some tennis ball juggling to improve my touch, my recored so far is 23
Good. Keep doing it a few minutes each day, like 15 minutes as a up warm for other practises. Remember to be focus deeply. If you loose your train of thougth on other things, you wont get much better.
congratsto you david, my record stands around 70 and im unable to beat it but i believe if i keep my determination and motivation i can beat it...i actualyl just suck at it and dont care
Okay, today I got 300 with tennisball, beating the almost one year old record of 204. Haha, It easy to remember my records now: I got 3000 with a football, and 300 with a tennisball.

juggling a tennis ball makes it easier to juggle a 5 ball, but does it give you the same control on the field that the size 5 does..... ? what do you think?
I personally have this question un-answered, whille some good players promise me it does, in my personal experience the month I had me meniscus injured, I only juggled with a tennis bal, coming back to the fields I made the stupiidesst mistakes.. the ball would slip under my foot etc....
Whats your opinion David?

Hmm, I am not really sure. I guess it could make one footballer perform better, and not have an effect on a another footballer. It certainly made my juggling better, as I had a record of 12 or something with a football when I first got my tennisball.
If it made my performance on the field any better, I don't know, but I think if your focus is plain to get great at football you shouldn't spend so much time with the tennisball and rather practice with a football and drills.
Today there is very few of my friends who can control the ball better then me, unless I get nervous. But most coaches think I am a failure in football for now, so I don't think the juggling has helped me so much. (Like I have my times, but not constantly)
Conclusion: Spend alot of time with a football, and if you have time left and want to challenge yourself to beat a record, juggling a tennis ball could be a good idea.
