Beginner freestyler

Post by xQuetos » 23 Apr 2015, 20:08

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and freestyle in general

I've been playing football since a child and having lived in Spain when I was younger playing mostly futsal which is skill based but since moving back to England I mostly play grass football. I can do some skills such as around the world (inwards and outwards), toe bounce and reserve toe bounce, hop the world... but I'm looking to get more into freestyle to learn harder tricks and combos. I train everyday for 2-3 hours practicing mostly juggling and some simple tricks but I would love to hear your guys training routines and how you plan them out, like what kind of things you focus on.

Please leave any suggestions and anything you have learned from freestyle that would be beneficial for me as a beginner

Hello. I used to freestyle a little bit but never got really good (nothing beyond TATW).
For me, it's more about style and making the moves "your own".
What I mean is, there are freestylers who just perform simple tricks - but never falter and make it look effortless.
Also, some people are good at ground moves, others are good at stalls, etc.
So it depends on what direction you want to go in.
