They do?

Well I guess it's probably all about being comfortable and preventing blisters.

Some players on my team wear normal socks under thier soccer socks. It's a comfort thing I guess.

if you don't wear tight soccer socks, i would recommend wearing regular socks, it does help prevent blisters.

look, he has white socks/bandage over his socks.

Are these just normal socks, if not where can i buy these? i have my suspicions they are OSi sleeves, which i am ordering off the internet soon (can't find any in the shops) but i'm not sure. Any replies grateful.

well thats alot of tape then, maybe he uses bandage and secures the top with tape or something , welll alot of pro players seem to start having the bottom of their socks white, so i'm wondering what it is , tape or a special sock or OSi sleeve or something?

They aren't regular socks, they are shin pad holders with tape around them.

I agree. It's just tape for his ankles...

Any reason why you would want these? I really don't see the point. Don't your socks hold your shinpads up?

yeh i was thinking the same, maybe to look good or something becuase if you dont know what they are why would you want them, too look good perhaps? Anyway i know i may sound silly but just google something like 'what does cristiano ronaldo wear over his socks' if will maybe work since i do this with other daft questions, but you never know there maybe someone else who has found out what they are on other site.
