I play either outside mid or outside back, so I need a boot that isnt too heavy that also gives control. I was thinking about the CTR 360 II's (not the elite ones) or the vapor VII's. Which would you guys go for? If there is another boot that you'd recommend I'm also open to that.

What's your budget? You can't get any better control than k leather, so ultimately I'd suggest AdiPure IV SL's. Lighter than any superfly on the market as well.

Puma v1.08 VS. Puma v1.08 K

Post by itscameron » 04 May 2011, 00:21

Hi guys.

Last year I wore the Puma v1.08 FG shoes and I loved them. They were extremely light and my touch felt awesome with them. This year, I bought the Puma v-Konstrukt II Gci FG shoes and I'm having trouble adjusting to these heavier boots. Maybe I should give them some more time to work in, but I was thinking of buying some new v1.08s. I don't know if I should go for the K ones or just the normal v1.08s.

Has anybody here tried both and could they please give me some advice?

-Thanks a lot :)

I've only had the synthetic v1.08's like you, but if your a fan of the v-speed range and looking for a better touch boot, then go the K-leather version. It depends if the extra weight concerns you or not because they are naturally gonna be slightly heavier then the originals.

after two years iam getting back into playing daily. ive had the nike vapors since the II. my IVs sl are breaking on the carbon sole and my white IVs are wearing out quick. i was looking at the adipure IIIs and the CTR360s II. can anyone help me with which ones fit better. i have moved on from the whole attacking all the time and now just go off of passes. i take most of the free kicks also. if neither of them are good, ill just get the WC vapors

From what i've heard the ctr's are amazing and extremely comfy like a slipper you can play in.

I have the CTR360 II (Not the elites just the regular ones) and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I've never used vapors before but the CTRs seem to fit me just like any other boot.

i just got the new vapor 7s in today. played in them for about an hour or two. all i have to say is the best vapors since the vapor 3s. the upper is not the plastic sh*t that messes up your touch like the 4-6s. if you were a big fan of the vapor 3s i would really think hard about getting these
