The difference is that Ronald Reagan was a U.S. president, and Mort Sahl is a Canadian-born comedian. but what makes what a former Californian actor/US president says more relevant than what a Canadian-born comedian says? Icy, you are right, the ESPN commentator doesn't even get it. I was tearing my hair out on the live broadcast, listening to him. haha.

And ESPN is "biased" for USA because they have John Harkes on the live commentary, who of course would be biased for the US. And, Alexi Lalas does a lot of recap.
