An awesome post there and yep I agree with the points you've made.
For the kids out there reading, it may seems like getting a contract
will "set your for life", but 99.9% of the time it turns out to be a short-term thing.

Interesting issue you have there. Stretching is the first thing that comes to mind, it's good to stretch everyday for at least half an hour. If you do it regularly you can improve your flexibility in a matter of weeks. But yea, running is important for soccer so I don't know. I guess you could use a...

Yep, that's a good way to look at it.
Also, coaches tend to care more about tactical mistakes since they can direct/instruct you right there on the spot.
