Well, he won't be there long enough to do any harm, and he's inherited a world class team. He's a defensively capable coach as well.
I don't know if Inter will repeat last season's success, but I don't foresee a 7th place finish either.

How Would You Defend Against...?

A while ago there was a topic about how to defend against Cristiano Ronaldo, I figured I'd turn that into a game. I'll start it off by giving a player's name, people can respond, then give a new player's name. Feel free to go back a few posts and answer about a different player. To start, how would ...

Actually, when I know I have to take long piss, I count how I pee for and try to "break my record" the next time I have to pee. Wow, I was JUST about to say that exact same thing! Once, I peed and realized that I was taking a really long time, what felt like a minute, so I decided to time them to s...

Tactical Discussion-Inverted Fullbacks

I was on THIS site (thanks to fawad000 for pointing it out, awesome site), and saw a lot of talk about inverted wingers. What they're saying is that inverted wingers work so well because they run at the weaker leg of the defending fullback, which makes sense, Zanetti was able to stop Messi and Robbe...

Messi's old Argentina games, particularly when playing beside Crespo, he was a support striker. In my opinion, supporting striker and wide forward are basically the same position, so you'd do well there if you play on your opposite side (left side if you're right footed) since you don't need too muc...

Based on this season, Nilmar by far, but I like Gignac better. Actually, they're about equal. Nilmar is fast, skillful, and can be a playmaker, Gignac is a mobile striker who can finish.

Just 15 hours, can't wait!
klc, Eto'o did score in the 2006 final. As for the approach, I can see Inter attacking from the start. Bayern have a shaky backline, and one would think Mourinho wants it exposed.

Well, to add to what klc said, Kaka just turns away from defenders and skips past challenges. Messi, on the other hand, dribbles at a higher speed, his direction changes are sharper, and he can make defenders think they'd get the ball if they tackle him even though he's pretty much guaranteed to bea...

Has he any club suitors?
I've been reading news of Barcelona wanting him since before the new year, they've died down since Pedro locked in the left wing position.
But yeah, that probably means he's good.

I'd love to see Kjaer move to Arsenal for a CB option that should leave more money for other players they want to pursue. Just thought I'd mention, Kjaer would not come cheap, I've heard something about 20m, more if Palermo make it to the Champions League. As soon as anyone places a bid on him, the...

Wow, thanks for that response!
I've been doing calf stretches, some ankle circles, and been debating icing it (don't know if ice helps after the inflamation stops), as well as the one legged balance.
And good to know about the hamstrings.
Thanks!
