Pfft, depends. A lot of people can take advantage of the fact that eating before bed ensures more of the energy is stored. I personally have a pig out session before bed and calorie cram as many carbs protein and fat as I possibly can. This ensures you have good Glycogen stores in your liver and mus...

Depends how big the game is. If I have to wear shin pads I will have socks up high, I think football socks look silly when they only just cover the shin-pads and looks very sunday league-ish and amateur. If I don't have to wear shin pads, I will wear football socks and have them pretty lose only com...

Classic example of why no team should use 4-4-2 any more. It seems like England has this own personal challenge with itself, to prove something can be won using 4-4-2.

Oh yes, they are also the ones who scream so excessively, it is as if they are trying to raise the weight by sheer wind power alone. 99% of the time they also leave the equipment covered in sweat and don't have the courtesy to dry it down and use the disinfectant which is literally available everywh...

I don't agree. Not everyone is able to go to the gym for an hour/few hours every day, and to be training really effectively, you need to be doing around 4/5 days a week. I have my loft conversion changed into a gym room, where I have a bench, knee curler, knee ex tensioner, rowing machine, treadmill...

Hmm I dunno. I don't think he does it to piss off defenders or wind people up. Yes he comes across as very arrogant in the way he carries himself, and it is very easy to attach negative personality traits to the way he looks, but the fact of the matter is he is pretty genuine and just loves his foot...

^ Agree. He is the type of player that will score or make some of the best goals you see, but he most definitely isn't the best goal scorer or goal maker. And that is the problem with Youtube compilations, 3:42 of the best bits of his career make him look exceptional, watching him week in, week out ...

I've played on a proper stadium pitch and nothing compares. Touch is 100 times better and it is so much easier to do things.

However, in the rain astroturf is best imo, because when the ground gets too soft even a good pitch is difficult to play your best in.

Get adjustable ones. You can buy sets that come with a spinlock barbell and two bars, and then loads of different weights to put on them. Unless you're working out at a gym which has ever variety of dumbbell, it is impossible to train with just one weight. If you're just starting off you will probab...

 I didn't say Ronaldo was the only one battling, I said he was the only threat to Barcelona. Yes the whole Madrid team played well and worked hard in that game, but only one player looked like scoring for Madrid, and he did. That was my point. I fail to see how this is hard to understand from ...

Barcelona had 78% possession that game? Forgive me if I'm wrong. For the 22% his team had the ball, a tiny amount was actually going forwards. For him to score in those conditions is good IMO. And as nick said, he was about the only player on the pitch that seemed a real threat ( and clearly was) to...

Watching videos of professionals is a great tool, because human minds are developed to learn from watching and recreating. For this reason, watching videos of players like Maradona can improve your dribbling. This could be thought of as sort of "virtual experience" if you like, because you have seen...
