Garricha could turn in a hairpin literally. Watching him makes me wonder if he even had a solid hip bone. That is how tightly he turned.

There is a lot of myths and ideas about this topic. If I'm 100% honest, I don't think anyone has found any conclusive evidence one way or the other. The myth is that it will get stored as body fat. The only reason carbs will be converted into fat for storage is when you have consumed a lot more than...

You need to have one quality over them to successfully dribble past them. You must either be faster than they are to get away from them, or be stronger than them to hold them off. Ideally, you want to have both qualities better than them. Dribbling is as much about speed as it is about control. Ther...

For your muscles to grow, they first need to be broken down. When you over strain a muscle, the fibres tear and break. Over the next few days, your body gets rid of muscle fibres that are past the point of repair, fixes any with minor damage, and grows more fibres (fast twitch) or improves the funct...

I am pleased for the pants of Canada. :p Really though, this is a huge step up for USA in terms of coaching ability. I think that might've been the first in a multi-step plan that might see them through to the quarters again next WC , and maybe even the semis, if they get some luck as well. All the...

^ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention_deficit_hyperactivity_disorder Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD or AD/HD or ADD) is a developmental disorder. Not everyone has ADHD, it is a genetic defect, similar to huntingtons disease. Although you can suspect someone of having it by examini...

Well what is a medium GI food?

It is all relative. Cocopops have a higher GI number than bread, but sugar has an even higher GI number. It is all relative.

As said above, you really don't need to look into these things too much, it makes no difference.

He didn't really do it that fast. Dipping your shoulders well comes from having strong legs to change your direction quickly, and more importantly a very strong core to give you the agility to move quickly.

The whole thing about eating protein within an hour after finishing training/working out is not proven by any stretch of the information. If I am totally honest, it sounds more like Bro-Science than anything else. There shouldn't be a physiological factor that allows your body to adsorb protein fast...

^ The gist of it is that you need to lift more than 60% of your maximum to activate your fast twitch muscle fibres. This is needed for increasing strength and size of muscle. Doing less than 60% will improve the physiology of your slow twitch fibres, but will not make them grow in size. This is usef...

Possibly the worst execution i've ever seen. Watch Totti take a penalty back heel in training, he sort of just strides backwards and gives the ball much more pace. This is something I've practised in training, it is fun to do in training, but I would never do it in a match. Likewise, running around ...
