Yea sure. I wana make sure shes enjoying it. I was reading about coaching kids in hockey back when I played that, and they talked alot about using other motivators like buying them drinks, or snacks to keep them happy. Cause its not until later when they see the result of their training they will be...

I made sure to remind her to try and work with each foot evenly, as that is something that I myself am OCD about lol (I have a better shot with my right foot, and my comfortable left at times). One thing that occured to me is what cleats I should get her? I was thinking of just letting her pick what...

Coaching my sister to play soccer

So, my little sister, whose about 13 has never been very athletic. In fact she never has been at all from what I can think. Shes a wiz at the computer tho. So today I decided to go practice my shot at the local pitch, and my parents suggested I take her along. I think it'd be a great thing for her t...

Alright. I don't put alot into my freestyling HOWEVER. Yesterday, I juggled across the field (the long way), the whole way without loosing control. And now I can do that pop up move, where your roll the ball over your right foot with you left foot, then flick the ball up with your right toe, and the...

Yea, I started doing situps everyday after practice, and ended up getting and imbalance with my back muscles I think. I ended up out for a week, and then started doing back strengthening excersizes along with my situps, and have not had problems yet.

I usually make a pass inwards to a center mid, and make a run down the line for a through pass. Or if im already at the top, a quick fake to get the defenders balance on the wrong foot, and use speed to get far enough infront where I can body him out of the way.

When I was running xcountry this year, I was between 5:30-6:00 mile. But at the same time, I spent alot of it on endurance and not on recovery drills. It's important to do long distance to keep your cardio and muscular endurance, but because you wont be running in a game at that speed for that time,...

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. -Michael Jordon I hate loosing. But when ever I loose control, I remind mys...

It would be a good idea to keep in mind important match dates as well. Could be fun to talk sh*t during some of the highprofile games.

What I do is. wear a white ankle sock, then put my game socks over, as I find the double sock helps prevent blisters from all the cutting I do. Then I put on my cleats, and slip in my shin guards. I then slide them down to where they're supposed to be (1-2" from the top of my cleats tong), and they ...
