For me the best players don't need to talk themselves up , if you know your a player then there is no need to type it on the internet. Let your feet do the talking on the pitch. True, that has always been my mentality, and I wil always keep on staying like that. But i have noticed some players have...

Wow, we've got a lot of arrogant people on this site. A pity, really. Yeah there are alot of arrogant people but I try to ignore it. Some of the best players are arrogant. To me being arrogant is horrible, but if you have confidence in yourself its a different thing. I dont try to bash them because...

But as our good friend, Ronaldinho10 says - The name isn't really important. It's still the same game we all know and love, even if someone decided to call it 11-a-side Spherekicker . Which is a great name, obviously. I'm seriously considering using that name on a permanent basis from now on "I'm a...

I want to grow to be as great as the great Pele and other special players for their teams. I want to be the first soccer player to take the U.S. to the Finals and to shine in glory of the World Cup. Question: How to get in easily, if I'm a good footballer? I leave the answer to you guys, because I'...

Re: Another Barca youth gone

Barca's ex-16 year-old midfield phenom Fran Merida is now with the mighty Gunners, and in his first game in England he promptly drilled a 25 yard shot into the top corner. You would have imagined that after Fabregas turned out how he did, Barca would be more cautious about their youth, remember tha...

Why do people care so much about what the game is called?!? Football=Soccer , Soccer=Football. American Football=American Football. Futebol=Football , Soccer=Futbol. And I'm pretty sure most people understood that Thrillboy was asking about Soccer and American Football. To Thrillboy - Magicfeet was ...

Yeh man keep practicing and your skills will greatly improve. If your practicing passing and outside curve etc. I think a mini ball would be better than a tennis ball.

Re: Competing to make a 16 man roster

Hi guys, i am trying to make a freshman team that only accepts 16 players. Mostly all players are of equal skill level, with the exception of a few who are really good or really bad. What i am trying to know, is how do i beat out those other kids that are just like me for a spot on the team. I am w...

Go and kick a smaller ball off a wall over and over with different parts of your foot. Control it with different pasrts of your foot and practice turning on the ball with different parts of your foot. Practice shooting with a smaller ball , it all helps. Basicually just do everything you'd do with a...

Re: biking whats better 95-100% for 20-25 mins or

whats better 95-100% for 20-25 mins or 65-70% for 35-20 mins this is on a stationary bike. I would suggest that if you are tryig to improve your cardio for football , have a 30-40 minute session with slow medium and fast bursts of 2/3/4/5/? minutes etc. This makes it more specific to football and w...

I was lucky enought to be at Highbury and had a perfect view of Henry doing that trick pass. It was perfection. I had seen clips of him doing the trick in the warm up for the Amsterdam tournament and it was just amazing to see him do it in a match. Unbelievable , I think many people followed his leg...

I've practiced probably 50+. It seems he is always on an adrenaline rush, he stays really physical, in...

***To the best of my knowledge , someone correct me if I am incorrect*** As far as I am aware adrenalin is a hormone produced by te body in situations of "fight or flight" When you score a goal/play football/dribble etc. you get an adrenalin rush and this causes your heart to beat faster and theref...

i would say RvN in his prime. i remember he scored something like 19 penalties in a row in the prem without missing. Yeh Van Nistelrooy in his prime was ruthless from the spot. Then he missed one against Arsenal in the last minute that would have ended Arseenal's unbeaten run. A year later and ther...
