Nobody is saying this guy isn't a good striker - We're just saying that scoring a lot of goals in the Dutch league doesn't really mean that much in top level football. Also, your assertion that he's going to score 5+ goals in the WC is laughable.

Magicfeet: Ronaldo9 shined in Holland with Psv, he also had a phenomenal goal scoring average, and he continued to shine all over the world.. With similar stats Romario, also shone in the Eredevise, and he continued to do it all over the world, and won the World Cup 1994 with Brazil, after dominati...

The Dutch league has always had phenomenal goalscorers who have failed to make their mark on other leagues. Kezman, anyone? In his final 2 seasons in Holland he played 62 league games and scored 66 goals. Came to Chelsea and scored 8 goals in 50 league games over two seasons. Heck, Dirk Kuyt scored ...

The UKIP with these policies ? Christ. I agree with what you say about the Hung parliament. Whilst I'm no fan of Cameron, he's "won" (not really) the vote. If he makes a deal with the Lib Dem's and we see electoral reform, we'll be on our way to something better. I think he'll make things worse in t...

I heard on the interwebs that it was a Sky News mic that was left on Brown. Sky who are owned by Murdoch (who owns pretty much all the media in the UK). Who supports the Conservative party. /conspiracy theory over.. gotta love the internet for conspiracy theories. It's all bulls**t anyway. The media...

Been quite a dull affair so far tonight. Cameron is doing a lot better than in previous debates, that's for sure.

Nobody has really shone though.

Single handedly destroyed the economy? Pffft, I say! :) I'm not going to back up my reasons for my political beliefs on here - it's ultimately a pointless endeavour on an internet forum and it will no doubt just lead to us running round in circles - but I'll just say I disagree with you on this. I'm...

I'm genuinely curious - how did you come to that conclusion about Brown? Because I felt he answered the questions with more confidence, more intelligence, and more political, social and economic understanding than the other candidates. Basically. Cameron would do well to try and actually, y'know, m...

Cameron has been a touch better than pathetic so far.

Clegg has been ok.

Brown has been better than both (in my eyes), that's for sure.

There's too much empty rhetoric all round, sadly.

EDIT: Cameron has improved somewhat in the last 15 minutes, it must be said.
