How about the "Expert Arena" in New York, since that's where expert is from. As for uniforms, we should be sponsored by nike. Maybe gray jerseys, that would be original. I'm open for suggestions.

jdefoe, if you are a)Jermaine Defoe or b)a goalkeeper or right back, then you can play.

Luis Garcia's goal vs Chelsea

I'd like to know what everyone's opinions are of the goal that sent Liverpool to Istanbul and Chelsea out of the Uefa Champions League. I personally think that it was not a goal and that the linesman should not have given it, because his vision was abstructed by Gallas.

In sports that are all about athleticism like football and basketball, it is much more common. For instance, Jermaine O'Neal of the Pacers didn't start until 10th grade. At the end of 12th grade he went straight to the pros. But this is a rarity in soccer, a game that requires much more skill. And s...

Sorry Jermaine, i think it would be a little unfair to the others to let you on. Unless, of course, you are a semi-pro or something, in which case you would be on.

Robinho is quite fond of scissors. I always see him doing 3, 4, 5 in a row. I have never heard the term padelada before, though. I'm going to make a daring statement and say that he starts for Brazil at left midfield in the next World Cup.

I'm pretty sure that defoe didn't respond to the thread for the couple of weeks that it was up. jermaine, we can still make room for a good player.

If you can make it into the Ajax youth system, you've got a bright future. Good luck with those tryouts. And take advantage of every moment that you have as a youngster. A few years ago, a coach told me that I would regret it if I didn't practice more, and he was right. Don't let it happen to you.

This may seem weird but...I sleep with my ball every night. I have been doing it for several years now. And it doesn't make you any better.

I failed to mention that my High School team plays a 4-4-2 with a sweeper and stopper and a diamond midfield. We are very successful, but that is due to our superior talent and athleticism. As for the club team that I'm currently with, we play a 3-5-2 with 2 defensive midfielders. We are also very s...

I agree, now that I have thought about it, Gravesen would be the ideal man to hold the midfield together for them, like Makelele did so well for them. As for Madrid's left side, they will be purchasing an attacking left winger this summer, and the only way that it won't be Reyes is if they get Robin...

If I remember right, all of the subs specified that they were some sort of midfielder, except for Nicky D. And he just said that he was like Michael Owen and Luis Garcia. :?

Reyes has expressed that he will go to Madrid if they want to make it happen. And since Madrid's weakness is their left midfield, I think Jose will end up going to Madrid for 10-15 mil. Potential Madrid team for next year: GK: Casillas RB: Salgado CB: Woodgate CB: Samuel LB: R Carlos RM: Beckham CM:...

"The will to win is nothing without the will to prepare." Quote from an American football coach. Nonetheless, it is true. What you have done prior to the game could be more important than what you do during it. That doesn't sound like it makes sense, but preparation can dictate what you do on the fi...
