Downtime: January 7-21, 2017

Looks like we had some issues with the domain. Since I was away I couldn't get it fixed right away, but hopefully everything should be back to normal in a few days.
Sorry about the inconvenience and Happy New Year!

I guess we'll have to wait until 2024 for the 20th year reunion. :)

Re: Eyes up

Hi, sure, the important thing is knowing what's happening around you.
So looking around is important when dribbling into space.
Harder to look up when you're under pressure,
so you have to look around in advance and be aware before you receive the ball.
Good luck!

Re: Permissions update

Thanks!
As a followup update, I've revived a few old pages:
http://expertfootball.com/games/
http://expertfootball.com/directory/
It's now possible to publish stuff using your EF account.
EF mods should be able to edit existing content too.

Re: Permissions update

Several accounts have been removed for spamming the forums with links.
Also did some additional cleanup, removing links to the now defunct snux.net and golaco.net.

Re: Implementing skills in games

Generally speaking, going around defenders is something you only try once or twice during a game - usually so you can shoot or cross the ball. There are drills you can do to improve your dribbling, but you want to focus on moving with the ball rather than going around defenders. Dribbling and sprint...

Re: Need some help

Hello and welcome to the forums. I practice football everyday for around 3 hours, is this enough? in these 3 hours I work on a bit of everything passing and shooting against wall, dribbling through cones, juggling/freestyle, first touch.. . 3 hours is a lot in my opinion. Most teams don't train that...

Cool, sounds like you know what you're doing. :)
If you're looking for specific drills,
there's quite a lot of information
both on the site and the forums.
