can you affect involuntary actions

can any of you affect involuntary actions? like i have heard of people being able to dialate their pupils, get goosebumps, and tighten their skin.

if any of you can do this do you do any other mind activities (i.e. meditating, will power, etc.) and how do you do it

all my cardio is swiming for a few reasons

1) its summer and i live in AZ so its about 110 out side right now

2) running a lot can mess up your knees

3) swimming burns the most calories in the least amount of time

yeah my coach did something like that, we had big messups in a game seven times so if he said 1 then we had to do frog hops, if he said 2 we had to do pushups and 3 is situps we did this for seven minutes, your really tired and sore the next day but its a good workout

the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body and viseversa right? so if you started brushing your teeth, holding your fork, controling your mouse, ect, with your left hand, wouldnt that make the right side of your brain work more. if it did you would get better with your left foo...

for nutrition pick a couple bad foods in your diet and just stop eating them completely, for example, i quit drinking soda and eating fast food..

to warm up for lifting, do some light jogging or cardio, and then stretch (especially the muscles you want to work). stretching increases bloodflow and warms up the muscle for activity, if you dont stretch that muscle, you could injure yourself

how come when i do bench presses, i dont feel it in my chest, i just feel it in my arms.

im pretty sure im using good form....
