Starting out, and speaking from experience, you usually run out of that juice they call motivation. It's probably the most important thing, rivalled by not using bad technique. People also forget that you need to train it, like it's a muscle. Doing too much too soon, will make not want to do it agai...

I have another question for you guys that know so much..... How do you stop this Barcelona? What tactics does a team have to apply to beat the Blaugranas? Thank you... Not that I know so much, just enough to you give a biased opinion. :) It's been done once this season and half a game by Valencia. ...

Good read, good read............. On another note, did anybody notice that Madrid lost oh so much in attack without Pipita? The team lost goal, pressure, heart and temper.... How many times haven't we seen him zoomed in on TV when the games not going his way, cussing and swearing in his native lang...

Missed the first half.

Ozil off, Jose is thinking about their next clash. Head to head over two games, just like CL aggregate, need a goal or two. Ozil isn't big game proven yet, pretty harsh throwing him in the deep end.

You're saying that to someone whose first language isn't English lol. I want to see Germany or Spain win, so everyone can bitch and moan about how sh*t the FA is and how they ruined football in England by letting the premier league clubs destroy youth football. Then they will always make the compar...

Panch how do you relax when you watch football? I'm always shouting at the telly! Lio and Ini need the game time at the mo. Keep the momentum going. There no replacement for game time. Ample resting time. I wanna see the crap Jose is gonna come out with. I'm guessing his gonna put pressure on the re...

Did my sprints etc. yesterday so my hamstrings are a little sore again today, but luckily (in a way) for me is that my match has been called off because of the rain, so I get an extra rest day :) I was actually pondering whether or not to mention this. Please give yourself at least 24 hours before ...

Close control/ dribbling, quick acceleration and shorter slowing down distances. Hamstrings are feeling the unaccustomed pressure of doing that repatedly. It's called DOMS, delayed onset muscle sorness but after reading around it's better to be called "exercise induced muscle damage". Unfortunately,...

Nope, in the same way we shouldn't big up Bale. He won't play like that week in week out. Usually the best players save their best for certain occasions. Maicon needed help. I just wonder why Zanetti didn't provide more cover. Bale isn't particularly skillful and you know he only wants to do one thi...

First of all, get across the closest defender if they are fairly tight. It buys you time because whatever contact you feel, you can go down and they will get a red card and defenders generally don't want to take that chance. The second defender usually goes around the keeper to cut off a weak shot. ...

Nothing. In fact it may actually be harmful for you. For reasons I can't remember but can find out if you want. During caveman times, do you think they made sure they drank 2 litres everyday? Nah, they trusted their thirst. And that's what you should do. If you are thirsty, drink. If you are not, do...

Thing is you have review your technique first. Drills improve muscle memory so if you doing it wrong, you will remember it.

I'm also in the same boat as you. Can't seem to keep the ball close when running at full speed / accelerating.
