Questions concerning shooting

Hey, I would appreciate any questions you answer and hope that you add a bit more explanation to your answer if you can so I can see why you may have chosen a certain answer. 1) About the clean instep drive technique, how do you learn it exactly? The other day, I took out 4 balls to shoot at a full ...

I'm liking the gif's. You make them yourself? Also, have you seen Kieran Richardson free kick in Sunderland against Newcastle? It had some crazy bend and power. It was close to Roberto Carlo's famous one but 1-2 yards outside the 18 yard box and in line with the penalty spot. It had no dip. Just pow...

What does it mean...?

What does it mean when a coach does not directly speak to you about his plans for your involvement in the match and your team ends up losing and you were meant to be a sub but did not even come on? This happened today but I'm struggling to know what it means for me. I posted this under mentality bec...

I see what you are saying but I don't agree with you. You seem like you want all the glory so play the positions you think give that to you and see how it is. Being centre back is like the last in line of defence. When they get past you they are almost certain to score. When you do that last ditch t...

Thanks for the explanation. To clear up, by two steps you mean move your right and left leg twice?

When do you normally use the shot?

I prefer shots that a couple of yards away while moving towards goal.

I know that when you play quick one touch passes and off the ball runs you increase the tempo, but how should you play them? Quickly. The quick passing and quick movements should really leave the opponents unable to close down quick enough. Like given a situation with two options, one is where you ...

One important thing is to get on with the team. There's nothing more annoying then a new guy who thinks he's the best. Don't say your good, show it on the pitch. Have a couple of mates like people you regularly meet on a basis and they will show you the ropes of the team and stuff. Especially that y...

Serious about getting better

Okay, I've designed this 6 week plan. It focused on 4 areas, shooting, passing and ball control, dribbling and fitness. I have every drill sorted but now I need help on actually setting the days out. It's like this shooting 2 weeks, passing and ball control 2 weeks and dribbling 2 weeks. I decided o...

Just a thought... How about quick passes, one touch two touch. This would mean the opponents cannot close the ball quick enough if you show compsure. Also, if each player of the team slows down the ball, sort of not rushing anything. If you want to dictate, or sort of, just tell your team mates how ...

Your first Jdefoe link is broken.

I like the guide but unfortunately I only have 6 weeks and want to get other attributes enough attention. IF I want to expand my arsenal, I will surely check back here again.

Okay, I cannot advise you on which position to play because I'm not sure on mine but from I what I hear you sound like a hard working defensive mid. You can sit just in the opposition's half if a corner and take shots and hope you get a deflections. You short passing skills will be good for keeping ...
