Re: Lower Back Pain

My lower back, on both sides (so the muscles, not the spine in the center) has been getting more and more stiff/sore recently. I'm not quite sure why though, it's been going on for a couple of months now. It hurts the most when I start my warm-up, going for my initial jog. It hurts on contact with ...

Just to add something to Zlatan's post, you need to communicate with your other midfielders. As a centermid you should dictate how the team plays. By plays, it includes attacking and defending. Personally, I'd tell the wide midfielders to press, together with the forwards. Tell the forwards to follo...

Nahh men, vs Barcelona you have to play with 9 defenders, and counterattack perfectly, like mourinho did in the league and cup game, or else its impossible, its sad to see my red devils chasing the ball all game and getting frustrated - Fergie needed to park the bus Madrid copa del rey style pressu...

Why are you still playing in this team, that's if you can call it that? Unfortunately, I know what you are going through. Mens football is slightly better organised. No one has time to mess about and they are only there to play football. As kids, you don't understand how lucky you are. Like you said...

Few questions

I'll be having university trials around the 17th /18th of September. So I was wondering a couple of things. Do I want to peak at the trials? Is 3 months / 12 weeks enough time to get super fit? How long is closed/ off season meant to be?

Opinions appreciated.

Beat the sh*t out of him. Make a big scene and watch him cower. If he doesn't, get in a few punches in there whatever happens. He is a coward. he realise that no one wants to fight so he does as he wants because he knows everyone will back down when they have had enough. Make an example of him, and ...

Re: Picking a Team To Support?

I know Pan' is a Man U supporter and he doesn't live in Manchester though... Like most Man U supporters. I moved to England, only saw Man U play where I used to live I felt I should pick a new team. I had a friend who was born the same day as me, to the year too, few hours older /younger than me an...

He'd be better at Arsenal. Liverpool already have Lucas, Spearing, Poulsen try to play the same positiion as him, and none are good enough to play on their own, whereas Lass can. I think Arsenal are 3 players short of a trophy. CB, DM, GK. If they sign good quality leaders in those positions, they w...

Well, let's have a look when you have one and not the other. You off balance the defender, get past him, and he comes back again to tackle you. You come slow and suddenly burst off. Even though you might accelerate past him, he is in a good position to put a tackle in. IMO, it's like asking if it's ...

Well, in that case, you are making incorrect runs. The number one reason a midfield won't pass to you is if there is a large chance that you'll lose the ball and that is usually when a defender is right up your bum. A way to remedy this is tell your midfield to watch your second movement. Also work ...

I think he is a really good squad player, for example Keita for Barcelona. I think he should have his own competition and stick him there every game like Pinto for Barcelona. And if he plays well there, give him the next game in EPL. I feel bad for him because he always changes games when he comes o...

Well the only thing I'd say is don't play to full intensity and start off slowly. You don't need to do the diving challenge nor do you need all your power into the shot, for example. I didn't concentrate too much on playing properly, often trying to nutmeg my friends or just have a chat and kick a b...

I've never seen anything like this before. Thing is, these people are friends! They won the world cup together! They seem to bring out the worse of each other. Any other team does the things they did to each other, they seem 'above' it. They don't give in, don't exchange blows. Everyone was falling ...

It was a pretty good game. They scored just before the period where the nervous energy starts to come, where the actually start asking if they are going to score. Man u individually aren't the best we've seen going by Man u teams but somehow they have a habit of winning. I firmly believe that, that ...
