That great block aside . . . Ashley Cole in a fit of laughter coming of the plane home sums it up really, no passion or pride. They need to get some fresh talent in there, young lads that have desire for the shirt... like Germany :o. They need some sort of England National team academy because the ...

The Bundesliga might be the third most represented, but 23 of those are on the German National team. (Do you have those statistic by any chance Pichichi? I'm curious) But anyways, in the 2004-2005 season, 45% of the players were foreign. (I couldn't find the current stat but I imagine it to be some...

Ozil for sure. I knew Muller had potential cause I had seen him play for Bayern a fair few times but now he is on the big stage and two goals vs. England is quite good for a youngster. Some of the keepers have been insane. Nigerian keeper. Both South African keepers. The Algerian one....very very g...

lol im gonna defend my position here: - I agree that England is not a tournament team - The goal would've changed the game - I know there's a big difference between the England in qualifying and the England now - But between the 4 games they've played, I'd have to say offensively that was the best ...

I think Jozy is quite good, aswell as dempsey and donovan. Howard, Cherundelo and the rest of the backline did brilliant aswell, aswell as Bradley. Look at Heskey, best player in Engalnds second game. He misses one chance and gets stick and Although Defoe scores did not do much else. I believe if Ro...

There are some teams that are awesome and get knocked out easily every WC, and some who play shockers and go on to win it or either come close. Germany, Italy, France and Portugal are the ones who always scrape through England, Spain, Argentina, Netherlands will come..play well, get knocked out in p...

I knew they'd get first in their group but I didn't think they'd go any further, but if they keep playing like this they'll go beat any team we've seen so far. In the bracket thread i tipped them to make the final. No matter how bad both Italy and Germany play they make it far. Its who they are. Ar...

I actaully take back my initial opinion. I believe Johan Cruyff is the greatest ever. He had skill like the others. He played several positions. Scored goals. He was just a smarter player. He played the game like it should be played, in a simple manner yet making it look extremely hard. I may elabor...
