Re: imbarrased..

i get imbarassed when people, friends look at me through their cars thinking im a weirdo :( I know exactly what you are talking baout. Where I train in the summer, it is right next to a busy road. I am usually training at high intensity and every once in a while people beep or yell out their car win...

Certainly, if you perform well there you will get moved up to the MLS. And if you perform well in the MLS than you can move to even higher levels of play. I doubt if you perform well in the PDL, you will get "moved up to the MLS". You would then have to prove yourself in USL-1 or 2 before that woul...

somehow i suspect you've never watched italian football in your life the italian game is not fast. infact it is very slow If you are comparing it to the Premeirship or some ther leagues in Europe, then yes it is slower. But from an American standpoint, it has a much faster pace to the game. Less ti...

Re: Important training info

Also, how are you going to practice when there 20 inches of snow It's called shoveling :D (which I might add is quite a good workout on it's own if you do it non-stop without breaks) I definitely agree with your post though, especially the part about going out of your comfort zone. Very important f...

Re: MLS and A-league

We already have intercontinental action, such as the Hyundai A-League Club Challenge (Sydney FC vs LA Galaxy - 5-3, Wellington Phoenix vs LA Galaxy - 1-4). They should be returning next year if I am not mistaken? You should all also look at the Pan-Pacific Championship that is due to take off in 20...

From one pretty new user to the next, here's a word of advice: Don't post in a dead topic if you don't have a question to ask. If the last post was months ago, don't post in that thread. It's all good though. There is nothing wrong with posting in a thread that hasn't been posted in for a long time...

Yes, but the U.S has the MLS. Instead of bringing over another league, we need to put more into MLS instead. I totally agree with ratherton. I can imagine if the Revs were playing DC United and it was going to decide the supporters shield title, and I didn't get to go because they decided to have it...

Well my may be a bit biased since I support the Revs  1. Shalrie Joseph : IMO the best holding midfielder in MLS. He usually dominates the midfield in alot of games. He always seems to be everywhere on the pitch. He is a brilliant tackler, and an excellent passer of the ball. Great vision. He i...

Some MLS teams could easily compete with Championship teams and even some bottom of the table EPL teams. They could also compete with Scottish teams as well. So "British" is too loose a term. Most people pass judgement on the MLS with only watching one or two games. They just assume it's American so...

Re: Anybody else hate the MLS?

Does anyone hate the MLS? The style of play is terrible, control is terrible, and there are no fans in the stands. What do you think? I really enjoy watching the MLS because it's so unpredictable. The attacking is decent and the defending isn't so decent. So it really makes for end to end stuff in ...

Re: Over 21's.........

Is there anyone here over 21 who is trying to make it pro or have given up on the dream? Just wanted to know what the older members on here are doing. I am 24. I used to want to play football as a career when I was around 18/19, but as the years go by the more you realize how difficult it is (and e...
