We'll see what happens when we have 11 players on the pitch and Ralston and Twellman back.

The ref handed the game to the Fire. Nice dive by Mapp too.

I'm not sure of it's exact amount.

Gomez is also 33 now, so they probably would rather bring in some younger players. And the addition of Fred and Emilio helped DC alot last year so Gomez wasn't as important.

Probably to make salary cap space since they signed a bunch of players from South America.

And I think Gomez is making alot more at Colorado now.

The MLS does have a limit on how many foreign players a roster can carry.
I realized that some of those players in Davidson's post may have a green card which doesn't consider them as an 'international player'.

btw, I am pretty sure Gomez was born in the States.

I think that the Revolution is better without Twellmen and Houston is better without Ching. Without Twellman, we wouldn't have been in the last 2 MLS Cup finals, let alone the playoffs probably. Nicol has built alot of this team around Twellman. We may have looked good tonight without him, but he w...

and make sure to drink alot of water to hydrate for further concentration throughout the game. Exactly. I think thats almost even more important than what you eat. Drinking plenty of water the day and night before is also very important. Makes a huge difference. I like to eat some whole wheat toast...

Re: USA to play at Wembley?

I heard rumours a while ago and its been on the news today that negociations are at an advanced stage for a friendly match between England and the USA at Wembley on Wednesday March 28th. Expect to see Beckham to gain his 100th cap. I heard it was going to be in May, when the England was going to pl...

Really, how much do you think those pads weigh?

That much added force to equal it to where it would be like they have no padding?

I'd be shocked if that were true.

I highly doubt it increases it that much wear it would cause more of chance of injury.

If that were the case, then they wouldn't wear pads at all..

I don't really want to go too much off topic here (not that really is much of a topic anyway)... But I always here people say "rugby players are tougher" or more "manly" becasue they don't wear pads. To me they are just more ignorant for not wearing any pads. I mean someone who thinks they are provi...
