I second Mr. Bean's post mate - rehabilitaiton is key. I ended up tearing my ACL (parrot/hook tear) and dislocating my kneecap entirely because I didn't focus on strengthening my VMO etc. Knee injuries have been the bane of my footballing career thus far in life and I'm only JUST getting over them a...

Dumb question regarding these Nike Vapor IV/V's (and the Superfly I'm presuming)..are you meant to be able to 'slip' into these boots and then lace them up just at the top? Whenever I try them on at a store the lacing design just seems a tad silly only taking up 2-3 pairs of holes and the tongue do...

Thanks Rome! Yeah my V1.08's are starting to generate enough fumes that you could locate them even with the light off. One last comparison between the styles of leather, however. I'm keen on the idea of using K-Leather boots once-more (used K-Leather Powerswerves for a while), but will the ad...

Another comparison for you lads and (hopefully) ladettes: Puma V1.08 Synthetic vs Puma V1.08 K-Leather. Apart from the obvious (Kangaroo Leather being more supple etc..) what benefits ...

Well said Alexio. :) God does AdiPURE IIs are pure class. Reckon Michael Caine would've been proud wearing a white-out pair with his signature three-button suits walking down Savile Road. Tried out a pair and it was reminiscence of my Absolutes, so hopefully it will mold as-well. Speaking of AdiPUR...

Thank you Alexio. True, been using SG Absolutes and was wondering how six-studs would compare cause now i probably have to get a pair of SG Nike Legends since the Powerswerves are inhumanely tight(in my opinion). On the topic of Adidas' AdiPURE IIs, Are the Adidas AdiPURE II tailored for the wide-f...

Thanks again Zack. I tried on all three and you're spot on. Tried on a pair of Laser IIs a size up and it fitted nicely, though a bit too room-y around the toes. The Legend IIs are in the basket. And the Powerserves are ridiculously tight (in my opinion). Was wondering How Nike's six-stud configura...

Re: The Boot VS Boot Thread
Nike lasers II are a little more narrow than the Laser I or so I hear.Ive never tried on laser II but I own the laser I.Legends are perfect for anybody really.those I think would fit wide feet. And the swerves are more narrow than wide.Maybe you should go with laserII since you had the laser I. You'...

F50/Puma V1.08 vs F50I - should I go and pay out for the new F50? Or dish out on an old model? I'm currently in Puma V1.08's but the build and design of the F50I looks excellent. Of course I'll personally try them on in the future but I'm not heading into the city for a good 3-4 weeks, would I be l...

Positioning - trying out new things.
Hey guys and girls, basically I'm playing CM regularly for my new club at my school, HVGS U17 E Grade, we've won 3 and lost 1 (today, 1-0 loss) and are now deadlocked at the top of the table with a game in hand over 2nd place (Maitland, who we lost 1-0 to today). The problem being is that we don't h...
