It's difficult to compare leagues but why are so fixed on wanting to start at an EPL club? You know how difficult that is going to be? Those teams release their own youth players all the time who are between 16-18 years old. Its tough. Nothing wrong with starting at a League Two or League One side i...

There are work permit rules in England so unless you have a passport from an EU country you can't play in England. I'm pretty sure Australia is a commonwealth nation of England so if one of your grandparents were born in the UK then you can get a work permit that way. Barnet have trial applications ...

The only guys I know that shave their legs are competitive swimmers, actually they shave their arms as well. In a sport like swimming where 1/10 of a second can count it does help. A lot of suits you see in the olympics are banned from college swimming so shaving helps. This actually made me think o...

Sounds like a good idea. Kinda reminds me of The Sandlot a movie about kids who played baseball at this old field in their neighborhood. Anyways, you may be able to make even more money by selling drinks and snacks especially when its hot outside. Nothing major just some bottles of water and maybe s...

i played against Sean Cunningham in highschool soccer last year, he had a crazy shot and played good long balls and was very athletic. Besides those 3 factors he wasn't anything amazing. Still a good player, plus i have to take into consideration he was playing center mid and his real position is d...

As I've said in the many other threads balance is key. You can still pursue your football aspirations as well as other things if you balance it correctly. I think 2-3 hours of training a day is enough I'm sure most pro teams don't even train any more than that and if they do its probably something l...

The competition is good. What club is it? It will cost money but it varies with each club prob...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kWU-JHetMM a little off topic, but check it out - And you make it seem like the US government is the only one that is corrupt. They definitely are, but you can say the same for every government in the world. Yeah for real, now some latin american governments steal mi...

Awesome!!! Lots to say so I'll break it down by category. The training guide is a great tool especially the venting tab. I like that idea, everyone needs to vent sometimes. Rewards system is something everyone should implement. I've been reading a lot of posts around here lately about being frustrat...

Re: Really discouraged, need some advice

Balance is absolutely key guys!!! Don't spend all your time focusing on football, making it pro, getting a college scholarship, live life. The last thing you want to do is look back on your life and regret not that you didn't pursue football but that you didn't pursue other things. Its very possible...

Just relax. Make sensible choices and listen to your body. If you're hungry eat, if not then don't. Protein and good fatty foods (olive oil, avocados, nuts) can help keep you full. Don't get caught up in counting calories just make good choices.

They are free to do whatever they want, its their life. If they want to go out and party they are free to do so, pro contract or not they are still people who I'm sure like to have a good time. I didn't know there was a rule saying footballers can't go out and party. It doesn't mean they aren't dedi...

I got a little caught up in it, nothing major, just woke everyone up in my house to tell them. I have some friends who live on campus. They went all out, decked out in USA stuff, chanting, blasted USA songs. I know someone who is in NY and she went down to ground zero, there was a huge crowd and eve...
