Well what I do when I play a long ball is kind of slice the bottom of the ball with my instep. My support foot is slightly behind the ball and I lean back a bit. The follow through is sort of short. Watch this video of Alonso's halfway goal and watch his technique. It should help. http://www.youtube...

Bench Press Max

I was just wondering what everyone's bench press max is? And body weight?

I'd just say it keeps running from being boring and gets you "pumped up". Also in long distance running, you can just get lost in the music and just free yourself from everything, ha.

You can always try ebay. They generally have a few pairs of Supremacies all the time, but it's just a matter of getting lucky with the right timing. I got a pair of Supremacies (my size 9) for 40 dollars on Ebay once.

Honestly I don't there are many soccer balls out there that are made to withstand being kicked into a solid concrete wall (if any). I think you are better off just buying a cheap soccer ball (10 dollars) and just have that last for 1-3 months. However, I do have recommendations, most of the cheap Di...

I find it easier to use my instep when doing stepovers when moving(like running/jogging), but it's easier to use the outside of my foot after doing stepovers in a stationary position, in my opinion.

I don't think this new era is as good as the old one. I mean if you think about, the previous era, you had Figo, Zidane, and Ronaldo (three of the greatest players to ever play in the game, arguably in the top 10, possibly even top 5). Just those three together, have 7 Fifa World Player of Year awar...

Shooting Video 2

Hey you guys, this is just a shooting video that I made in about 10-15 minutes. Most of the shots are instep drives. Check it out and comments would be great. I will probably be making a better one (with more effort) sometime over the summer. Thanks.

It doesn't matter that Rubio is going to a bad team. The quality of play in the NBA is better than any other league in the world (by far). The reason why he is considering on not joining the NBA immediately is because he might not be ready to make the jump (due to the high NBA standards). I'm also s...

Haha I'm guess I kind of went extreme there. But I just read a few of the comments and some of them were ridiculously ignorant. Yeah I agree Ricky Rubio is going to be really good in the future. He's has a lot of potential and a lot of analysts are already saying he's the best passer they've seen ov...

Whoa whoa, did someone just say the USA doesn't dominate in basketball? And that Spain does? Are you serious? Did you really just make that statement? The United States won gold at the Olympics with an average team. Many superstars chose not to take part such as Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. When yo...

My Summer Training Plan

One of my goals this summer is to become a better soccer player. Comments are appreciated. This is my created routine so far (technical skills first, then physical): I have narrowed down what I need to work on the most (soccer specific): -Headers -perfect Aerial Control -One Time finishing -180 degr...

Yeah I wouldn't exactly say "blacks" are better players. The technical ability comes into play and I think technical ability mostly comes from talent and practice (nothing to do with race). In addition, mental ability comes in as well (once again, nothing to do with race). However in just pure raw a...

This movie was horrible. A complete let down from Goal 1 and Goal 2. I think the movies just got progressively worse. Goal 1 was amazing. Goal 2 was okay. And this is just terrible... I thought the trilogy was to follow Santiago Munez and his story... And we never find out what happened to Roz and G...
