to get better shot power you can train your quadriceps, but with shooting its ALL about fast twitch muscle fibers, so you have to do exercises that train your quads for "shooting" moments, like plyometrics. calves- running in general quadriceps- shots and power keep in mind its not exclusively quads...

its not that you are a wuss, even I HATE keeper punts that look like they are aiming for me. It's about confidence with the ball. When you know what to do before the ball comes to you, then it will happen naturally. Ex: Keeper punts and I trap it with my foot then pass. Or I can do a re directing he...

I can attest to this. With good ball control comes tricks naturally. I used to be able to do all sorts of fancy moves...in the confines of my backyard or when there wasn't anyone around. The second I got in the game I never did any of them. I started playing indoor and my ball control, agility, bala...

my experience

I recently started playing indoor at my university with friends. Before that I thought my ball control was better than it really was. I can pass and do a few cut moves here and there but the actual control was not there. We play indoor twice a week for a good 3 hours each. I will say that playing in...

i have two sources: "If stamina is the ability to run long and slow, what is endurance? According to the way I’m defining the term, endurance is the ability to sustain race pace at an uncomfortable level of exertion." and "Cardio Endurance - The ability of body systems to gather, process, and delive...

i want to point out that you dont get "more" fast twitch fibers.

the body doesnt create muscle, it makes what you already have bigger and stronger.

but try jumproping. start slower and get faster while making higher jumps. experiment. also plymetrics will do

What is a good pair of cleats that are used for touch and ball control more so than shot power. I don't have power but i have accuracy in air and on ground. I need boots f...

What are some good indoor soccer shoes?

I'm looking for some indoor shoes, for a small, sock-like fit of a shoe. For wide feet. I like adidas but I'm open minded. Telstars look decent but never tried them on. Basically I do a lot of freestyle juggling and futsal. So something that would tailor to that. Also for casual wear. Ive gotten mix...

play in small/close quarters. it doesnt necessarily mean play with a size 3 ball, although it helps ALOT, but play in small quarters..like if u have asmall backyard or a small driveway, just dribble and cut around things. get the control before the speed.
