Scottyboy my friend, personally I would rather be an "ignorant american" than a stuck up assh**e. Sure, maybe you're better than most players but that doesn't give you any right to talk to people like that. Not everybody wants to devote their entire life to the game, some people play for what is com...

Ha PERFECT would mean scoring every time you got the ball. If Beckham's accuracy was PERFECT when he was in his prime why didn't he score on every free kick? There's always room for improvement.

Try playing it back and forth off the wall. That helps a lot with first touch. So you don't have anywhere outside with more space?

Only thing is I'm two years older, but I play center mid, I'm deceptively fast as they say (or slow if you want to take it that way), skinny, get knocked around more easily than I would like, I can't shoot very well (or at le...

I think every team uses pieces of the Total Football system to some extent. All of my club coaches have preached the importance of being versatile and not staying in a rigid structure the whole game. I'm sure that in games your teams don't have each position stay in a designated area the whole time....

Glad that I could help. For speed training some of the stuff we do is on this site here: http://www.soccerfitness.net/ss1.html . We do a lot of the ladder work to warm up, then we go to the treadmills where we go at a high speed for a short time...usually anywhere from 6-30 seconds then do 20 pushup...

My team actually split off from our club a few years back and renamed ourselves Total Futbol because our coaches really liked the style of play. Our coaches always described the system as every individual player being able to play anywhere on the field and spreading the ball around, not focusing or ...

I agree with most of what you're saying, especially with the racism. It's really a shame that it still exists in such a great footballing country. However, despite the fact that there are many (big) problems with La Liga, I would much rather watch a game between almost any two teams in La Liga than ...
