A common mistake is that people try to do it with out the outside of their foot by turning their foot inwards. That is completely wrong. My friend can curve it by doing that but it looks akward, doesn't have much power, isn't very accurate, and has too much loft. Now the way i do it is how Roberto C...

That does help me but i never hit hard at all until i learned the technique and got it down perfect. That's why i shoot how i do now. lol my nickname is "Right Foot...

Well nevermind now guys. I got it now. My shots are harder than ever and they were hard before. Watching that and Roberto Carlos helped me and now i can shoot like them. I almost have the outside curve Roberto Carlos does. ALMOST. I can curve it a little bit but most of the time the ball just lasers...

How do you shoot like Riise?

Hey guys i don't know if many people here know who John Arne Riise is so i'll tell you first. Riise is a left back who plays for Liverpool and has one hell of a left leg. Now in his freekick against Man U, the ball was going so damn fast. I wanted to know if anyone had an idea of how he hit it, his ...

My advice is to watch Wayne Rooney shoot. He ALWAYS shoots low and very hard. Try to imitate his body movements. That's what i did and now i've perfect the hard and low shot. Also the hard and low hover ball as well. Just watch the way he shoots. Also, put your left arm(if your shooting with your ri...

Mine is to get better with my step-overs, shoot harder more consistantly, and to gain more confidence and not freeze up when on the ball. Happy new year everyone.

Help on striking the ball with no spin

Well i've been having trouble lately on just power driving the ball with no spin so i need to know what i should do. Do i strike it dead center and if so, are there any exercises that can help with that because sometimes i'll hit good but it'll have backspin(it doesn't go over or anything but i don'...

Oh lol. Sorry. Yeah i tend to get a bit defensive sometimes when i think people don't understand what i'm trying to say. I don't want to be misunderstood because, as you saw earlier, people will get pissed when they read something wrong or if it is worded wrong. lol okay. :)

Gunnerz what i am saying is if you get hit and the guy doesn't touch the ball, who the hell is going to say you dived or not? NO ONE knows except yourself. It is very easy to lose your balance if your feet are in the wrong place. That's why pros do it. Because no one can say it was a dive as long as...

lol i WAS going to say that but still its kinda mean because EVERY pro dives. Everyone's hero dives and cheats sometimes so you can't really say that. My fav is C. Ronaldo too but not BECAUSE he dives but because of his skill. As long as you don't like him BECAUSE he dives, then its okay.
