Pylometrics and Improving Acceleration (4-7 week program)

I need a 4 - 7 week program in order to improve my acceleration with focus on pylometrics. I will add some sprinting at the end of the program (say week 6 - 7). Pre: I actually have high endurance meaning I am fit enough to tackle most intermediate pylometrics and sprinting exercises. Main Problem: ...

Training in Hot VS Cold Environments

What are the differences between training in hot and cold environments? What effects do they have on athletes' fitness, endurance, muscle activity, etc. ? Does temperature affect heart beat rate? Can a different temperature setting affect an athlete's conditioning and endurance? ====================...

Down to the point Nothing in life is perfect or ever can or will be, trying to acheive perfection will only lead to further suffering as not just life , but the force of the universe will knock you back Only through acceptance of how things are, the appreciation of life, suffering and other people ...

All I know is what the Bible says. That's called dogma, and is one of the things I hate most about religion. Incorrect. Dogma is something that someone would call say, "universal", in a sense. Notice how Nat_H's posts use the word "I". This is not dogma. This is personal opinion and is centered on ...

http://strengthtrainingfordummies.com/ 8 - 10 weeks?!? Not bad! Thank you zcm12! :o But here's problem number 2... I have a pair of dumbells at home, but if I need a good body workout, I need those giant barbells, somehow. I played against some college grads/students. I might have better stamina, en...

Hooray. zcm12 appeared!

Note to all: This video is not exactly the same as the other CL 99 vids on youtube. I think the music and the editing were well done to bring out dramatic effect. A mix of a documentary, mini - movie, and a tribute. Excellent video.

I am beginning to think that this thread should have gone somewhere else..... This is the most useless advice I have received in my stay in EF. Muscle mass does not equal fat mass. The first is needed for long term sports conditioning. The last looks nice on women as long as its sculpted to m...

Should (future) Locker Room topics be segregated? It makes the Locker Room neater so that all the Vet members don't scream at the newcomers.

I have hit the roof and can't go on

I am going to try for this college team soon. Don't know when try outs are but I need to gain a LOT of weight by December because that will make a good strategic set - up for my future training routine in January next year. I have decided to think ahead and I have been working hard these past few mo...

You have a wonderful sense of humor. :) I rarely see ratherton use emoticons so this must be a special thread.

Found it. It was done by Will Hammond under youtube name "wildebeest". Current username is "wildebeestp". His video is almost always deleted by ITV so if you wish to see this more than once, I suggest you save this video into your personal computers.
