I'm also going to go with step-overs..... Simply, because I think they're more adaptable. Obviously, the caliber of the defenders matters, but even if the move ( or a series of step overs ) causes the tiniest bit of indecision in a player's mind, you can take advantage of it. The rest of it is a men...

I'm not so sure. Brazil seems to have totally run out of ideas up front, and the North Koreans are turning out to be no slouches in defense.

I haven't once felt like Australia really threatened Germany.
You were saying? :o

Yeah, but aside from that little bit of enterprise and that first attack, Australia's looked totally out of their depth.

Is it just me, or does Johnson seem to be england's most active attacker? :roll:

Despite the score line, that was fun (and very frustrating to watch).

Btw,
>=30 shots on goal + almost 50 - 50 possession = fun. :)

Yeah. Hopeless tackles, uninspired attackers & shots gone to hell.

Gotta hand it to those uruguayans though. Determined defending.

That's the weird part. Especially with Ribery being 'one of the better dribblers in europe'. Then again, i think that's because he's being smothered. Purposely. Other than that, I think Gourcuff's got a pretty good shot, even if he seems over eager. As for Uruguay, mostly passive, but seem interesti...

what about the Scorpions? they're definitely not metal. and Black Sabbath? I mean, if you consider Led Zeppelin & AC/DC as hard rock, so're they.

More names. Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, The Kinks...... Elvis Presley?

Personally I think in tight situations the best move is the simplest: a very sharp and clean footroll across the body. I've dodged 2+ incoming defenders by footrolling my way around them, and I'm not well known for my dribbling :P and N, how do you use the scotch when your dribbling? I only use the...

Well, shortly before May 22nd, i would've said Diego Milito. post the UCL final, there aren't too many people who could doubt his quality. (or are there?) So, how about....... Pepe Reina? Despite LFC's 7th place finish, he was still immense. actually, without him, we'd probably have been a lot worse...
