Others will say it was dirty, others wont. Given the situation you handled it good but obviously could have done better and not be booked. I'm a referee so I understand where the line of what to get away with is, and when the ref almost always has his back turned. I'm not advising you to actually fo...

Well that is probably one of the main reasons... I was wearing my vapor IV and I kicked a teammates soleplate in a scrimmage and ended up kicking right where the lace cover and tounge was. Absolutly no protection at all. I bruised up similar to your foot and I struggled to walk, but was good in a we...

I personally do not eat immediately after games. Just drink lots of water.
I am going to be meeting with a nutritionist in the near future (for basketball although) and I will let you know what she says for after game snacks.

Understandable, I love my IV's. Except for how they are separating after very little use, same place on both boots. In addition, you can normally send the boots back to Nike within 2 years since they were made, but now they exceeded that and now your left on your own.

Both options should be effective. The vertical dribble may lead to you being out of position... :?
Another great choice is to play it back to defenders! Get them to swing it around the back line a few times and it will always open up options

From past experience, don't get boots like the V 1.08 or the older version of Kings because they are on sale and cheap. I did that with a pair of vapor IVs and after under 1 season of play the sole is separating.
Just my two bits worth of advise.

Not exactly anything fancy, but you can try to be putting the ball on one side of the defender and blow by him on the other and win the ball. Another thing would be just to back right up to him so you are "on" him and then it is a lot easier to turn and spin with the ball. These are all ideas just c...

I had a similar experience with my Vapor IV today actually. I had two games today and the top of the back of my boot began digging into my ankle. All I did was throw two bandaids over it and taped over it with medical tape before my second game and felt none of that pain. So maybe you just need to t...

Torresforever: Lots of times while beggining don't get yourself frustrated, using the instep works well, lots of times it doesn't have to be the middle of your foot, aslong as you are using a solid technique you will get it. Remember to utilize both your dominant and non-dominant foot, you will be s...

If I were to be reffing a game (come September I will be a 4th year ref) I will only call a penalty over if: the keeper stops it, ball crosses the goal line, stops it forward motion, "double" kicked, has fully stopped motion. For refs it is a judgement call which I have heard many times with many st...

Sorry for just popping in here guys but, is there a "demand" for right and left defenders?
By demand I mean if I tryed out for an academy would I have a fair shot as most people trying are wannabe Christino Ronaldos.
