Sorry, I'm actually driving back to North Carolina from Canada so I'll only have Wifi at hotels when I stop. 3,200 miles...so yeah. anyway, I'd try to link up the drills that are similar or could play off related skills. You could always try doing shorter time + more drills or longer time + fewer dr...
It seems like it took Capello long to realize how good Scott Parker is. He's the best English CDM at the moment. Also, does anyone realize how bad Milner got since he joined City? I think Barry and Milner were both big fish in a small pond at AV. He doesn't play regularly with City, especially when...
Walcott is injured(ankle). as for all the other stuff, it's hard to say. I think Rooney's form is a bit deceiving because he had a very hot club season last year/cold world cup/and somewhat of a down season this year imo. I guess it's all based on the point of reference from last season though, whic...
Develop some OCD. Everytime I leave the house I'm like keys, wallet, phone. Anytime I leave an area, I double check. I'd rather be late somewhere and have all my stuff than be early and forget stuff because I spend time fretting over where I left them. Also on desire10's advice, I'd take it one ste...
@Tommygun uh the whole boot is hella stiff all around but particular around the inside of the foot... the leather's stiffness just does not give a healthy rebound to the ball. But yes you're right, its more stiff around the instep pod, whether it's the inside or outside @Scott the sales gene never ...
I think the problem you'll find with the T90's is that it's just a stiffly constructed boot. The pods along the instep doesn't really allow for much stretching through the forefoot. I'd say the CTR's are a little softer throughout so it'll probably just take some more time with the T90's to get them...
In comparison to who they could have drawn they got it easy. I'd say this but I still wouldn't expect it to be a walk-through. SD, much like Barcelona, have proven to be a tough place to go in search of a win. I could see Barca taking the 1st leg for sure but don't see them winning the 2nd leg. It'...
Fartlek training is great since it mimics what happens on the soccer field. Other alternatives are long distance bike riding, swimming or running. Agreed with you and Nick. I just do hill/mountain trail runs because the change in terrain and it adds training at elevation. You have to adjust you're ...
If you're talking about general stamina, you need to seek an activity that will test your ability to perform over an extended length of time. Trail/mile long runs would be ideal since it's something that requires you to work constantly for longer than 5 minutes and anywhere up to 30(longer trail run...
Wohoo 2 more classico's. Pepe makes me laugh, every game I see him play, without fail he will come close to putting someone in the emergency room  haha...I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I saw this live. You'd think he would have realized he should bring it down a notch by now. Pepe l...
Being a striker, you'll really need to be able to finish with either foot. I think it's a great time to focus on that, especially from reading your speed thread. You won't have to be the fastest if you're a consistent finisher with both feet, but speed does help. The only issue you're probably havin...
Sorry, just saw you comment posts so I'm just getting around to this. In regards to your concerns on weaknesses, I'd wait until you've mastered your left foot before worrying about that. It will def take some time to get your left on par or even with the confidence to say it's even with your right f...
CR7 also showed his true colors today, making faces, gestures, and complaining when the team doesn't pass him the ball, not noticing that he does the same exact thing and the rest don't tell him anything. If he played, it wasn't to help the team, he will help the team when he leaves everything in t...
