I agree with what arsenalfc08 said... You can work your ass off and not make it. I know a friend who trains day and night, rain or shine and couldn't even make his high school team. Conversely, I have a friend in the academy who doesn't train outside of team practices, hates the fitness aspect of it...

Even so, the piont I made was valid. Also, by the time he answered to my response, I'm pretty sure Spain was back on top. Rankings aren't that reliable anyway.

Panchester, when was the last time ze roberto got called up?? Also, according to the FIFA rankings SPAIN is number one. You made the list yourself, if you think brazil is still a more complete nation you're kidding yourself. The fact that Latin America worships brazil doesn't mean you have to give t...

Brazil isn't as complete as England or Spain, as some other people mentioned. Those to nations can literally pick an A and B team to cover ALL areas of the field, brazil can't. If I had a bench I would much rather have David silva or Ashley young than ramires, and it doesn't even stop there, they ha...

Work, dedication, a willingness to learn, natural talent, a dream, and most importantly to enjoy yourself. Different coaches look for different things. For example, a coach in the Latin countries would look for a player who is technically almost perfect even if they aren't physically imposing. Where...

Yeah, portugal is not good, specially with queiroz. Whoever finishes second in group g is almost guaranteed to play Spain. So you go from playing in the group of death to playing the European champions. France got a favorable draw, as if they couldn't get any luckier...

when I said destroying, I meant beating. Expected results?? France, world cup holders in 2002, were "expected" to beat Senegal, but that's not how it turned out is it. This is the world cup man, anything can happen. Anything...

My favorites for the world cup: brazil, ivory coast,Spain, netherlands. Group g.... Jesus Christ. Portugal will not finish second... They will either top the group or crash out, and yes brazil is in that group, but Portugal could potentially be "that" team that struggles to qualify and then destroys ...

*sigh* just as I predicted, Madrid played on the counter, and very well I might add. Madrid dominated the first half and ronaldo shouldve had a goal. Good job to barca, and the man of the match was easily puyol. A draw wouldve been fair, but all that matters is the scoreline.

As a Madrid fan, I hope they win. I don't like saying I like Madrid anymore so I won't be seen as a glory hunter like a lot of people now-a-days... Anyway, I hve a feeling Madrid will play on the counter, specially if ronaldo plays. Kaka as well, both are incredibly fast and physically imposing at o...

I agree with dudeman... It's useful, but only after you've taken a touch and realize the defenders exposing one side more than the other and you have space on your right or left, depending on the foot youre gonna cut the ball with. Why does everyone call this the "ronaldo"chop? Is it cause he made i...

No he doesn't... The reason he makes the ball go "up" is a combination of the power of his flick and the surface of the pitch. As for the second part, maybe your not timing your move correcty, or your thinking about it before you've even gotten the ball, which is not very good when executing a move....
