Its a good game, the manager mode is excellent. However for me it gets boring after a while, because its so similar. Like your passing, shooting, skills etc all look the same and you can just predict what the game will look like after a while, if you get me. I'd get pro 6 because the gameplay is so ...

Shoulder barge while dribbling

When dribbling and someone barges you off the ball and they get the ball. I'm a bit confused on the rules of shoulder barging. Doesn't this mean if someone is dribbling, I could just charge from the side in full speed with my shoulder and bang into them shoulder to shoulder, they'll prolly be knocke...

Dont go into a match thinking 'i'll do step overs or 360 turn today'. Like everything in football, it takes few days or few weeks even months to learn it, but can take a life time to perfect it. Do step overs so much that it becomes your second nature. You'll do it when you feel like doing in a matc...

Arsenal101's Amatuer Progress Log

Some background about me: Having started playing football few years ago, I have now realised that I love the sport. And I enjoy so much playing it. I am now 17 years old, going to university next year, therefore I won't get much time practising at home. However I do get free periods during school t...

Yup definitely, you never know when you may need it. It may be just one time that you go up field and has a chance to shoot, just that chance you might score. So all in all, it's worth it, and you become a complete player like Gerarrd.

Search around the forum, there are TONS of threads on this. Just by posting here, just annoys most people (including myself) because this isnt even the right forum to post about confidence, its more to do with confidence I'd say. Please read around first and not make yourself look stupid

Improvement on Matt's Elastico Guide (Elastico STEP by STEP)

Elastico(also known as flip flap) is a very useful skill. This is a video of Ronaldinho doing the skill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH2-IFZsqw8 (on the 20th second they show the move slightly slower) There is already a guide on Elastico, Matt's Elastico Guide: http://expertfootball.com/forum/vie...

Also because these boots are new, first time wearing them. I realised the boots are 5cm bigger than my feet. Is that fine? and how long does it take to break into these lol

Studs + Juggling + TRYING to freestyle + wet weather = bad

Recently bought some boots: http://www.soccerlocker.com/istarimages/p/p-313986-101!NIKE.jpg But in blue. I went onto a field and tried some juggling + freestyling. The grass was pretty wet and it was bit muddy. I couldn't lift the ball up ONCE, yes not ONCE could I flick the ball up normally. Everyt...

defending against an intelligent attker

Ok first let me just ask the question and I will briefly explain what is going on and hopefully someone is able to answer my question, Thanks. Basically how would you defend against someone that is intelligent, when I say intelligent I don't mean fast, skillful or strong, but I mean intelligent? Bas...

don't think they're fake, it's just they're the cheaper version, i.e. different material. well the player makes the boots, not the boots make the player. Before when I couldn't dribble or didn't have a good touch, I always blamed on my astro turf or boots. Now I can dribble, pass, shoot, control muc...

No need to train, just play

Well obviously one must train to get better. Improve his/her overall game play.

However Ive stopped practicing now because of school work and dark condition.

My question is, would you get better, improve the same way as you practice if you just play small matches with your mates?
