Re: How to stop getting side spin

Keep working on it Romasu, if your technique is clean the ball should have little to no spin. It just takes practice that's all. Practicing against the wall is usually a good way to get a lot of repetitions. Cheers!

Re: How to stop getting side spin

Hello and welcome to the forums. Do you mean that it spins when you are shooting at goal? Do you know how to kick using the instep?

Hello. You could browse through the ExpertFootball channel on Youtube:

I'm not sure if TATSULOW is in there, but it may be worth taking a look.

Re: Ideas for coaching U/8 girls team

Greetings. There is a list of drills that you can look at here:
https://expertfootball.com/?p=drills
You will probably have to simplify some of those drills,
because with U8 it's really more about keeping the kids' attention
and making sure everybody is involved in the exercise.

Hello Marcus, and welcome aboard.
Yes, I know what you mean, your ankles are probably sore too.
Don't think there is much you can do about that, and it's usually worse when playing competitively. :)

Re: Soccer doesn't feel fun anymore

Wow, these were written in 2004-2005 it’s NOW 2020. If you guys were little teenagers/young adults back then, my my, you guys must be in your 30’s or 40’s now! This forum is very much a time-capsule from a different era. Back then this forum was *the place* to chat with other soccer players online....

Did a little google search and it looks like the group still exists but, like the forum, is not active anymore as far as posts. Someone revive it!
Yea, the Facebook group is even more idle than the forums.
Thanks for checking in, and hope you are doing well.

I am doing well, thanks for asking. How have you been?
Everything's fine, although admittedly I have not played soccer in a while. How about you? :)
