I believe this is the one from the University of Michigan's program? Am I correct? if so, yes it will help, but only to an extent. you must move on to more difficult and different varieties of training eventually.

highschool defending means standing and jockeying the attacker with the ball from 3-4 feet away (without stabbing-but sometimes people do). Whereas pro defenses allow players 3-4 meters of space.

Warm up and stretch VERY well and make sure you wear underarmour or some kind of compression top to keep you warmer and dryer so you don't catch a cold...also make sure you're in a habit of breathing through your nose..since the passage is longer the air heats up more. :lol:
