Is this a competative league? If its not then you either need to move up to a more competative level of soccer, or lighten up. If its rec league the people are there for fun and so should you. The point of rec soccer is enjoying the game, too many people get caught up in the winning or losing aspect...

just google agility drills and you should find a ton of different exercises that will help you out. Curiously? how old are you? The reason I ask is if you are having a growth spurt that is gonna through off your coridination alot, so dont get discouraged.

There is no one perfect type of free kick, its all situational. U have to look at each freekick on it own and decide what best to do with it. Sometimes its not even a shot on goal, but a throughball or chip or a cross. That being said, I dont see why you think u can only be good at one type or avera...

Another thing about a good striker is they keep cool under pressure and finish well. I see alot of strikers making good lateral runs, getting into space, and getting clean looks on goal. But the better ones keep it all together and finish smoothly instead of scuffing the shot or rushing it.

Another suggestion. Anytime I see people trying to learn to kick with their weak foot, they tend to try to kill the ball. Start off slow, visualize your walk up to the ball and step through it with a good follow through. Go slowly and build up power as you learn the muscle memory and motions that u ...

Nowadays there are several types of base layers out there. Some are for cold weather, some warm. They all provide varrying levels of compression. The compression aspect is why I wear them, both a top and bottoms. Studies have shown that a muscle in action loses some of its energy to occillation (vib...

Kinda sad that they dont make these guards anymore, mine are starting to show their age. I've brought them in to a tailor to have the seams repaired afew times now. I would like to get another set but it looks like I will have to look at the newer ones from adidas, thinking the carbon ones perhaps f...

Vapor 4 fit compared to Preds.

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before. I am looking at getting a new pair of cleats for the summer. I've narrowed it down to V1.08s (again, had the tricks last year) and Vapor 4s or 5s. The only problem is I can't try the Vapors on since no one anywhere near me sells them in anything even ne...

I also feel that ManU back were not playing up to their caliber. They seemed very slow to the ball, and made very bad decsions. Liverpool to their credit played very well. If Liverpool can build on this they will be a factor in the end. The only people on manutd that was making bad decisions was th...

I would say the V1.08s run pretty true, i had a pair of 9s (i am normally an 8.5) and the 9s were slightly too big, i might get a pair of the redbull colour way ones in 8.5 for this season though, since they are such a nice light shoe.

Being shorter gives u a lower center of gravity. U can use that to leverage people off the ball. Remember males tend to carry most of their weight in their chest and shoulders, whereas women carry it in their hips. This means a taller players centre of gravity is higher then yours and easier to upse...
