I think this has been explained pretty well by everyone else, but it depends on where you are on the field. Definitely learn to use your instep more often, since that's where you'll get more power from, without losing much accuracy. You generally don't want to shoot first touch, but if you're going ...

It's good to see some younger international players than Becks coming to MLS. New faces like Zurawski should help the league's reputation a little bit (or maybe not, depending who you ask). Hate to sound like a typical American "soccer fan," but we need to bring more of these international players t...

But the thingis i'd prefer right wing other than any other position, its sort of natural to me in a way. Where you feel comfortable playing is as important as anything when choosing a position. When I first saw your list of attributes I thought winger. Definitely keep working on your stamina; it's ...

I know what you mean. My school has a nice turf field, which we play our home games on, but some of our away games are on football practice fields. Keep working on your touch, and remember that everyone has to deal with the problem of the uneven field. Also, as fir nev said, play on the uneven pitch...

The way you described your shot is actually the way I learned the instep drive. I may not have as sharp an angle on the ground, but I do tilt my foot slightly, as you said, to avoid hitting the ground.

Actually the instep is a common shot in futsal, although usually from further out. Many players shoot like they would play a pass, meaning with the inside of the foot. To get shots in futsal you have to be fairly open, but it's still quick, and the inside of the foot is a good way to get off a shot ...

Well I'm only 17, so obviously I wouldn't know ( ), but go with the Captain Morgan.

It's about time, I say. I honestly never knew the G14 to do anything besides complain about tournament formats and other similarly petty things.

I'm familiar with the movie, but I haven't actually seen it, though I'd like to. You're right though, that's the kind of movies that need to be made, ones that make a point and show things that affect people. We don't need another "scary" movie about a rebellious teen who moves with their dorky fami...

Twellman should be shooting for something higher than the Championship. A few Americans have done well in SPL and some mid-table Bundesliga clubs... I honestly don't think he's good enough to go higher then the Championship. It's not just the fact I don't like him I just don't think he's that good,...

With Puyol (if they can get him) and one or two big names, I can realistically see Spurs challenging for a title. They've been doing well, and I think their weakest point is their defense. Give them a couple years and you may see them beat Arsenal 21 times in a row...

Zidane, definitely. Cantona was an amazing player, and you have to rank him up there with the greats, but Zidane was a revolutionary. Cantona mastered the game, Zidane created new ways of playing for other people to master. Definitely the best player from the current era. RVN vs. Ronaldo (current fo...

Well yeah, since we're the most important country in the world. I mean we're what keeps everything running smoothly, right? But no, I just meant it's easier for me to criticize American media since that's all I know basically. I think he actually died in Australia (could be wrong), and I know for a ...
