A quick question - I have heard and read from various sources that ankle weights are bad for you and can cause ligament damage. Can you confirm this? Thanks man the sites awesome!
Ankle weights are fine for exercises when you are stationary, but they are dangerous if you try to wear them while running. So any cardio exercises you do with ankle weights increases your risk of injury. They were never designed to provide resistance while moving, so if that's what you're looking for, wear arm weights (such as wrist weights).
