It is better to go into a game concentrated than it is too be all pumped up and overly-excited. The best players are constantly "in the zone", which is a relaxed state of mind where you are enjoying yourself, while remaining confident and focused. To stay in the zone consistently, practice visualization, which is visualizing yourself successfully executing specific techniques.
If your teammates are not coming to support you, I would suggest pulling the ball back, scanning the field for more options, and then playing back towards your own goal to the nearest unmarked player. You can also yell out "support needed", in order to get teammates to check and run towards you.
Good luck!
