During your off-season, you should try to stay fit through aerobic exercise. If you don't feel like running, try biking, basketball or similar low-intensity, long-interval sports. You can improve your aerobic fitness through working on your technique. For example, practice dribbling or knocking the ball against a wall. Just make sure that you're exercising without interruption for a period of at least 30 minutes.
